Plantation Drive at Assistant Regional Transport Office, Udhampur
The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Unit Udhampur carried out a plantation program at the Assistant Regional Transport Office, Udhampur today.
First District Youth Coordinator Kushal Gupta was welcomed by Guide Captain Veena Sharma and Divyangna Dubey wearing a Scout scarf. After this, a tree plantation program was conducted around the office under the direction of former District Commissioner Ashok Kumar.
District Youth Coordinator, Kushal Gupta, told that the tree plant is the ornament of the earth. We are all alive because of the trees and plants, because they release oxygen, if the trees continue to be cut from the earth, then human life will be in danger. There are many storms and earthquakes on this earth. If we still do not improve then it will be too late, we should do least pollution and plant more and more trees. Former District Commissioner Ashok Kumar said that Bharat Scout and Guide team have been continuously engaged in service work since the Karona period and are ready for service and social service. Scout master Rakesh Sharma, Amar Dev Singh, Avinash Thapa, Rakesh Singh, Vikram Gupta etc. contributed significantly in the program.
