Plant Tree Save the World
As per the information obtain from television and newspapers the Forests in Sri Lanka is reducing. As a scout I decided to start a project on forestation. So I initiate this project.
I started this project on 15th of September. Firstly I told to my father to bring plant from the plant shop. I made a hole to plant my tree. After I mixed the soil and compost to make a easy fertilizer for the plant. That I had took me only 1 hour. So then my father brought Mango plant. I used the mammoty to dig the hole. Then I put some water. I kept my plant, put the fertilizer and again put some water.
Benefits of the planting, We can get healthy foods without artificial ingredients. Save money of our parents without buying food from market. We can eat fresh harvest at any time. Farming make enjoy to our life and it protect our nature as a scout.
