The "Plant a Tree, Save the Planet" program was held at SMK Seri Pinang on Friday, September 13, 2019. The program was organized in conjunction with the 2019 World Peace Month themed "Climate Action For Peace".We planted fruit trees and flowers around the school. Hopefully, these trees will benefit the entire school community in the future. The main goal of the program is to strive for climate change by increasing the number of trees that will be able to balance the ecosystem and nature. This is in response to the 2019 “World Peace Month Celebration”. In addition, the program also aims to educate scouts to love the environment and to protect it from any potential threats.There were 30 participants who got involved in this program.We started to work from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Before the activity took place, all participants were given breakfast. Not to forget, before the program ended, participants took turn to water their respective trees to make sure all the trees can grow well.
