Plant Today, Harvest Tomorrow
This project was inspired by our desire to create a greener and healthier school environment while encouraging scouts to take responsibility for protecting nature. Planting mango saplings is a small step towards environmental conservation and a sustainable future.
A total of 215 students from Classes VIII to X participated in the project and planted 200 mango saplings within the school area. First, we cleared the bushes and prepared the land where the saplings were to be planted. After the site preparation, the plantation work was carried out class-wise in an organized manner. With teamwork and cooperation from all the students and teachers, the entire activity was successfully completed in more than four hours.
Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and environmental conservation. We realized that even small efforts like planting saplings can contribute to a greener and healthier future. The activity also taught us patience, cooperation, leadership, and the value of caring for nature as responsible scouts and students.
