October is #PhilippineScoutingMonth! The Boy Scouts of the Philippines kicked-off the celebration of the Philippine Scouting Month with the Launching Ceremony of the Philippine Scouting Centennial Peace Torch and Baton Relay at the BSP National Office in Manila on October 1. The Peace Baton, consisting of three (3) parts will be handed over from one council to another across the three (3) main islands of the country - Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao until it reaches its final merging point - Zamboanga City, the very place were the first all-Muslim troop consisting of twenty-six (26) Boy Scouts was organized in 1914. #PhilippineScoutingCentennial #BoyScouts #100Years
