Penang Bridge International Marathon Duty 2019

Due to the fact that I like to spend time with my friends, when my scout troop's leader asked for our willingness to join this activity, me and my friends accepted it right away. Besides, I had never joined a service during midnight. As so, this is my motivation for joing this activity too.
First of all, we arrived at the scout headqquarters at Penang. After that, we had our attendance taken by our troop's secretary. After taken attendance, we had dinner which is supplied by the headquarters while waiting for our transport. During 11pm, we went on the bus and thus are on the way to our destination. We arrived at somewhere along E-gate and started our service. Our reponsibility was helping the workers there to arrange the watter bottles and cleaning the environment.
Due to the number of participants of international marathon was around few thousands, some people just threw rubbish on the floor. As so, the environment around the runway was extremely dirty after the competition. As so, we helped cleaned the environement in order to maintain the cleanliness of the environment.
I've leaned to be responsible as we had our individual responsibilities. Besides, I've learned about the methods of how a marathon should be done.
