Penang Bridge International Marathon Duty
I felt obligated to finish the job as a scout for a state wide event
We arrived at 5 in the morning to place down markers and carry water from the truck to other water stations placed along the bridge, then we had to wave signal lights so that the contestants can see which way they are supposed to go. by the time the event ended and we cleared up most of the stuff, it was almost 1pm
We helped to provide guiding lights for contestants so that they can ensure their safety, we also lessened the load on the shoulders of the rela personnel
I learned how to guide people with a smile even though it is in the dead of the morning
