Peace Run is the first Scout-run event that was held by Messengers of Peace Indonesia located in the heart city of Jakarta during the Car Free Day (Weekly event for public in the main street of Jakarta from 6 - 11 am every Sunday, no vehichle). There are hundreds scout was interested to be the part of that event. We have 115 volunteers and 795 participant.

Besides for commemorating the International Day of Peace, this event also aims to re-branding Messengers of Peace as one of the Better World Framework Program and needs to be explored. The main stage located in Sarinah, one of the strategic mall where car free day visitors mostly come to this area. Sarinah made this event become more visible and easy to reach people who come to Car Free Day.

For the activity content, besides running as the first activity on this event, we also have peace dialogue and peace games during the event. All the participant burned into the situation and attracting public to come and see what's going on in our event. We have top 10 finishers which rewarded as medals receiver and hundreds badge receivers. All the activities was run well and there are some institution was interested to create the same event like Peace Run.
