Peace run participated by scouts and scout's family (cub scouts, boy scout, venture scout, rover scouts, adults in scouting) was held at Menteri Besar Recreational Park from 7am-11am. The event was attended by the President , Vice Presidents, Chief Commissioner, Assistant Chief Commissioner, District Commissioner, leaders, scouts, adult in scouting of Brunei Scout Association. The ceremony began by greetings from the Chief Commissioner of Brunei Scout Association. The President of Brunei Scout Association then paint print his hand on white cloths that was initially designed with tree branches to officially mark the event launching, each hand print indicate the leaves of the tree and the hand print followed by the Vice President, Chief Commissioners and Commissioner of Brunei Scout Association proceed with paint hand print and the tree grows tremendously as more hand got printed. Each hand print symbolize support on peace culture. Also present BodyMan mascot (local actor) came to promote and support peace run event. Peace run committee consists of rover scout section. The objective of Peace run: to celebrate international peace day thru engaging activities and promoting peace culture Activities highlight includes: 1. aerobic 2. short distance run (1.4km) 3.
