9 schools and Paro College of Education celebrated the International Peace Day at town plaza on 21st September. During the celebration, in the morning participants are divided into 10 groups and allocated with 10 different aeras for cleaning campaign and door to door campaign about the climate change. Moreover, the participants asked the people around to make the pledges to combat the climate change action. Later part of the program, in the afternoon, public speaking competition was held amongst the participating schools on the topic "Climate Action for Peace". Cash prizes and certificates were presented to the winner and the participants of the public speaking.
