PEACE CLEANUP AT LOMOLOMO BEACH

PEACE CLEANUP AT LOMOLOMO BEACH

On 13th July, 2019 the Peace Boat passengers got together with Lautoka Scouts, ventures and Rovers to pray for Mother Nature and clean up the Lomolomo Beach in Lautoka. 520 people got together which included both girls and boys. This program was organised by the Ministry of Youth & Sports. We also provided lunch to all participants. The Ministry of Youth & Sports equiped the participants with hand gloves and garbage bags to help us in carrying out a fruitful cleanup project. This project has helped the Lomolomo Community in having a clean and hygenic beachfront which is used by thousands of people. This project has empowered the youths of the area to maintain and upkeep the beachfront.
