Since I am asked by UN FAO YUNGA program to make a review on draft activities on biological diversity we came to eight book plus two on the draft line may be more. They are on forest, water, soil, ocean, climate change and food security, biological diversity, ending hunger, climate change in addition nutrition and energy in draft form. Now children globally benefited these challenges and the number of participating countries steadily goes up. All of these books are available in UN FAO YUNGA website with different languages. Almost each book starts with a painting competition to make the book design. I am working with scouts, guides, school children, members of children environmental education Book are always start with a welcome address and general information on challenges . Then badge structure and curriculum goes on . Sample curriculums given on each age group. Second main part is the background information. Lets take Forest as an example there is four or five sections in each section.Section A İt starts with simple questions What is forest? What is tree Layers living creatures. All main characteristics given. Section B is generally goes on its benefits to mankind in terms of economy, effects on environment . Section C is about it. reflections on culture. Then comes RİSKS. This is section D for forest Deforestation, Erosion, fire WATR ETCÇ Every challenge have other own risks. The last section is what you do Then comes tasks on every section . some fifteen tasks given in every section for different age groups. 5-10, 11-15, 15 up. There is two compulsory tasks on each section where you need to make only one of them. And you can select one more. There is many countries with different level of behavior to make them. So leaders may change the level of tasks . Children can bring the teaks they made in school work or elsewhere.
