Participate in fire service and civil defense firefighting activities

A fire has been reported in a slum at Chalantika intersection in Mirpur No.7 of the capital.The fire broke out at around 7.30 pm on Friday. 20 units of the fire service and members of the rovers under the Bangladesh Scouts are working to control the fire. Fire service leader Jiban Mia confirmed the news of the fire. He said the fire started around 7.30 pm.Upon receiving the news of the fire, the Fire Service and Jatir Janak Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College Rover Scout Group arrived at the spot to put out the fire. Members of the Jatir Janak Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College Rover Scouts joined hands with the fire service personnel and volunteered in the firefighting and rescue work.
