When our pack committee was looking for a holiday service project, many of our committee members shared stories from their childhood of visiting the local nursing home and putting on a program.  Since one of our Tiger Den Leaders has a grandfather who lives in a local nursing home, we chose his residence to work with.  We sang a number of Christmas carols and the the boys visited with the residents.  It was was very endearing watching the boys with the residents.  Many residents shared memories of their time in scouts either as a boy or a parent of a scout.  Everyone had a great time and we hope to make this an annual tradition.
