Mongar Middle secondary school scouts, students celebrated the ozone day by having mass clearing of the bushes in and around the school campus. The day was also marked by giving talk on the importance of protecting the ozone layer by the class teachers and science teachers.

Around 505 students from classes iv and above and 45 teachers joined in the mass clearing of bushes, weeding in the hedges planted and scouts took care of the tree saplings planted in the school. The program started from 8am till 6pm on 16th September, 2019.
