Outreach Program by HCPSMSHS Rover Scouts.

On April 23, 2022, we carried out an outreach program at Tahanan ni Maria, Bitas, Cabanatuan City as part of the Honorato C. Perez Senior Memorial Science High School Rover Scouts. We put together a outreach program. We arranged games for the kids, supplied treats and prizes. We also made them some snacks. In addition to that, we handed them toys that we collected from our donation drive, some canned items, and a few food supplies. For the activity's success, we all contributed.
A prayer praying for God's presence in the occasion was said before the program began. The Rover Scout Rica Eclevia took the lead in this and served as the program's master of ceremonies along with her partner, Rover Scout Crystel Porquerino. Following that, our responsible and motivated Outfit Adviser Sir Carlos Pailas makes some welcoming remarks. Following that, we gave them our donations, and Sir Carlos Pailas gave his final remarks.
The smiles and delight on the kids' faces made me understand that while some people look for happiness, I didn't; instead, I just love what I'm doing, which brings happiness to others. This practice taught me a lot of positive things, like gratitude for what I have, concern for those around me, and the value of friends through the ups and downs of life. Additionally, this seems to me that even the your small acts of kindness make a big impact on other people's life.
I've grown to care about other people's circumstances. Those of us who are fortunate enough should extend a helping hand to those in need and not turn a blind eye to others. In order to make the world a better place and to bring happiness and hope to our surroundings, we should be the ones who share optimism. This kind of behavior should be adopted, and others should be inspired to follow suit.
