Senior Scouts from Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines submitted a proposal to the Institutional Administration to permit the placing of Philippine flaglets around the campus in preparation for the Independence Day and to help the citizens remember the special event. Additionally, the scouts together with other organizations in the community attended the celebration in Gapan Old Casa Municipal organized by the local government.
