The late king was known to be a highly revered and a person of unity and viewed with great respect and affection. Our heart goes out to Thailand in this most devastating and saddening moment for them. May Thailand find the strength to get over this unimaginable loss. Today we offered 1000 butter lamps for his majesty' s peace and tranquility. May his souls Rest In Peace!!! People all over Bhutan are mourning today and praying for His Majesty, the King of Thailand. Scouts all over Bhutan are offering their prayers for the sad demise of a great king. All over Bhutan, national Flags fly at half mast today to mourn the passing away of a great King, who has so much respect and relation with Bhutan. Our King and the Royal Bhutan Family offered their prayers in the great fortress of Tashichhodzong and the memorial chorten today as a mark of respect and in the memory of a great leader.
