Operation Tadingyut 2019

Myanmar Rover scouts are giving out some voluntary services and donation to the elderly in Thanlyin Township, Yangon. The activity is gathered by the Rovers from East Yangon University which has been somehow already part of their monthly routines. It is usually joined by some other rovers and scouts from different universities and schools. The place is called Thabarwa Meditation Center, which is an elderly home for people who are sick, abandoned or disabled. The East Yangon University rovers usually come to this place once every month or two to offer voluntary services such as; cutting their hair, cleaning the toilets, bathing them and wash their clothes. It is noted that about 55 rovers from different universities in Yangon join the activity this time. Today, as the Nation celebrates the Thadingyut full moon day, which is a Buddhist occasion of lighting festival, this is how our scouts are doing their good deeds.
