Operation Can-Tori by Inasawa Group 3 (Aichi, Japan)
The Operation Can-Tori (which means to pick cans), held every year, was participated jointly by groups from Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts on September 15, 2014, and headed to Kounomiya Jinjya (Kounomiya Shrine) from each group’s district location and to be gathered by 11:00 am.
We have started from 8:30 am with 12 cubs, 1 beaver and 11 leaders, and have taken two courses. Scouts have worked very hard to pick many litters they have found along a road to the shrine.
All participated scouts received the prize of button badge (see photo).
Official name of Kounomiya Jinjya is Owari Ookunitama Jinjya and famous for Hadaka Matsuri (Naked Festival).
