Old folks home Chinese New Year Lunch Duty
Many old people feel lonely in the home for the elderly, so I think we need to accompany them to let them more cheerful in the old folks home.
We gather at the old folks home, to prepare for the old folks home community service. After 8 days is Chinese New Year, so we decided to give them a lunch event. But first we need to clean up the hall, some scout clean the table, some scout wipe the floor, some scout prepare the food. After all things are set up, we started the event. We invited the elderly to the lunch, and arrange some performance to the elderly. After the lunch, we say goodbye to the elderly and went back home happily.
Scout learned how to care the younglings and the elderly, and know how to set up a lunch and performance, also know how to serve the food.
I learned that we need to give the children and elderly more caring, also we need to stay besides with our parents.
