World Environment Day was observed in Kohima the Capital City of Nagaland, India on the 5th of June 2020. The Day was observed by doing clean up drive, planting flowers on the side of the road, and watering flowers that were already there on the side of the footpath around the city with Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Unit Leaders. We were encouraged by the presence of State Commissioner (G) and the State Headquarter Officials as they worked together with us. After a tiresome work for 3 hours, the participants were provided juice and snacks by the State Chief Commissioner of Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides which refreshed the participants. Altogether 23 participants: 2 Rover Scouts, 3 Senior Scouts, 2 Guides, 7 Guiders, 4 Scouters, 4 Headquarter officials and 1 MoP State Coordinator participated in the work which made it possible to sucessfully complete the project of keeping the city clean and beautiful on the occassion of World Environment Day.
