NOSU Scouts delivered presents to children in Krasnoarmiisk in the framework of the “Scouts for Ukraine” project.

The representatives of the National Organization of the Scouts of Ukraine visited Krasnoarmiisk, Donetsk region, where they presented gifts to internally displaced children in the framework of the “Scouts for Ukraine” project. The city is located just 50 kilometres from the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine. The gifts were purchased with the financial support of the campaign "Scouts of Ukraine" in Panama. Each child were given a set of basic school stationeries: notebooks, coloured paper, pencils, pens, brushes and watercolours. During the presentation of gifts, the main initiator and inspirer of the entire project, Thomas Arias from Panama, participated via Skype. He supported children, told them about the history of the project and wished them peace. In addition, during the Krasnoarmiisk visit, NOSU representatives also held a presentation on "Scouting" in the pedagogical college of Krasnoarmiisk and organized a workshop on the use of the Scout.org network for the members of the Donetsk regional branch of NOSU.
