Topic: "NO TOBACCO DAY" Campaign

Objective: To create awareness among the community people about the Marijuana plant

Bhutan nation wide observed "NO TOBACCO DAY" on 31st May 2019, on this day our Technical Training Institute which is located 70Km away from capital city Thimphu. We are imparting training on Automotive, Driving and Earth moving, we the trainees and staff observed the day by conduting the campaign on uprooting the Marijuana plant and congress grass. 

The campaign started from 8.30 am to 12.30pm and in total 180 members took part in this program, one hundred thirty were male and 30 were female. They trainees and community people. Finall we have collected three mini truck full of marijuana plant and congress grass (Poisionous grass).

Finally the trainee of institute and community people are now aware of campaign and the disavantage of this kind of plant in and around community. All the participants are very happy with our campaign program.
