Ankara Sevgi eli Guide and Scout group organized a tree planting with Doğal Yasam Association, Kavalıdere Lions Club with the support of Ankara Foresty Directorate. Trees were planted somewhere near the Kazan Toen of Ankara.  The new woods named after Late Yakup Öztekin  and event promoted as an activity for celebration of centenary of Turkish Scouting. Some Parlimentariens and government officials also participated to planting. 24 street children from each district of Ankara and children from government children protection centers, Senior citizens from Kazan town, children from local schools and 55 scouts participated to the event. Total 450 volunteers planted most of the planned 2000 trees on the land about 20,000 sqm area. .
