National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign 2025

To support the National Vitamin ‘A’ Plus Campaign 2025 in eliminating Vitamin A deficiency among children in Uttara. Our goal was to prevent childhood blindness and boost the immunity of children aged 6 months to 5 years through direct supplementation and community awareness.

The project took place at Nagar Matrisadan, Sector 06, Uttara. We collaborated with health workers to administer capsules (Blue for 6–11 months, Red for 12–59 months). I served as a volunteer feeding the kids and as the official photographer, capturing the event to highlight Scouting's impact. We also managed the queues and educated parents on a balanced diet.

I've learned the clinical importance of Vitamin A in preventing childhood blindness and how to support national health goals through the EPI program. I developed skills in humanitarian documentation and crowd management, while realizing how Scouts can effectively partner with government institutions to improve community well-being.
