On 21st of Febuary, Bhutan celebrates two occasions, namely His majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and the National Scout Day. Gesarling Central School celebrated with chief guest reception and scout piloting, then hoisting two flags with regular scout drill. A speech was delivered on the importance of scouting not just for fun but also for life. In Bhutan, in an occasion there are cultural activities, so Gesarling Scout danced on the MOP theme song. After the ending of the half-day program we had a mass cleaning campaign as per the order from the Dzongda (Gorverner) of Dagana Dzongkhag (District). Scouts were to tasked to clear blouders aside the school gate.

After the cleaning, we also had few activities based on Sustainable Development goals where there were involvement of 19 Community based Scouts. The activites included, Zero Hunger, Sustainable communities, clean water and sanitation, and survival skills. All in all, National Scout Day was celebrated joyously by Gesarling Central School.
