"NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY"

My inspiration and motivation started with the aim of spreading awareness about the gender inequality faced by girls in society. To help people in understanding why female foeticide and infanticide are evils practices and how they will affect society, several steps have been taken over the years by government authorities, doctors, and activists.
our project was implemented in our Mafeking scout group,Shanthi gruha , Bengaluru. We planned to arrange a rally to spread awareness about national girl child day. The executation took as per the plan we made and we reached people and let people know what was the rally about.
Gender discrimination and abuses, injustice against girls is a serious stigma in India and is a serious problem in India that is deep-rooted . A multifold approach is needed to ensure that the state has those laws to bring justice in society, it also requires adequate budgetary allocation for girls' education, health, well-being, and collective responsibility of social organizations to speak out that girls are not less than boys.
The day is in line with government campaigns and initiatives such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Save the Girl Child, free/subsidized education, and women's reservations in colleges and universities. The National Girl Child Day is celebrated with events and programs based on annual themes. 'Empowering Girls for a Brighter Tomorrow' was the theme for 2019. In 2020, the theme was "My voice, Our Common Future." 'Digital Generation, Our Generation' was the theme for National Girl Child Day in 2021.
