MY EXPERIENCE: INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP 2022

I joined this project because I want to spread awareness about global warming and of course, marine pollution. The Philippines is known to have a vast coastal area, and a lot of Filipinos rely on it for food and other necessities. This is why I and my Outfit participated the International Coastal Clean-up, we want a clean and a sustainable environment not just for us but for others as well.
To start with, we registered for the International Coastal Cleanup 2022. Then, we head on to our destination which is the Tanza Marine Park, we prepared our tools and equipment and started cleaning the coastal area of the Marine Park. Afterwards, we segregated it and listed the name and the brand of the litter (if it has one) and handed it over to the local garbage collector.
The outcome of the project was to help the locals and aid the caretakers of the Marine Park
This gave us knowledge about Marine Pollution and the dangers of it.
