Mpango ni Peace - Migori Rover Scouts Peace Walk
Peace is the way out of inequity and violence and a golden ticket to enter a new, brighter future for Kenyans. All of us as Kenyans are important in this epic endeavor and all Kenyans need every hand they can get to receive a more equal, peaceful, and beautiful world. Peace, security, a future: basic needs that Kenyans people in the midst of violent conflict desperately want and seek as we look forward to the 2022 General Elections.
This was implemented in form of a Peace Walk or peace march, which is a form of nonviolent action where a person or group marches a set distance to raise awareness for particular issues important to the people of Kenya. This was a 40 Km walk from Rongo Primary to Uriri DCs Office. The peace walk was had a theme of "Empowering Young People for peace and National cohesion.

The peace walk dubbed 'mpangonipeace' aimed to agitate for peaceful general elections at the grassroots levels and promote cultural acceptance and tolerance. As part of the programme, the beneficiaries are Kenyans in Rongo, Awendo and Uriri Sub Counties as well as the youths and children and women at risk and other community members. Walking has many benefits. They are good for personal health and well-being, good for the environment. So the participants also benefited from the Physical Exposure
The need to have several programs Peace Walk to be an annual event that brings students, youths, children and parents and citizens together.
The peace walk initiative campaign has brought together youth leaders who represented diverse cultures and clans from around the county.
Through the Walk for Peace, the scouts were exposed to cooperative play experiences led by trained facilitators and leaders.
Also were lessons about the physical and spiritual faculties.
