The Howrah District Association organized a Mosquito Cleaning Project to eliminate the risk of an outbreak of mosquito transmitted diseases in the area. The Scouts wandered the whole Mirpara area and sprinkled bleaching powder near drains, tanks, toilets and other requisite spots. To fulfill this project, they used bleaching powder, spades and buckets. To ensure safety of the participants, they were supplied with disposable gloves and masks. The locals much appreciated this project and welcomed the Scouts with delight.
