MoP is in service to the Patients of Childhood Blood Cancer (Pediatric Hematology & Oncology) in BD

Forhad Hossain ll Dhaka ll June 03, 2017: A joint project between MoP Team Bangladesh and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka has been launched today. The title of the project is- ‘Messengers of Golden Ribbon’. The Chief National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts- Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan formally declares open of the project. Hence, the Social Welfare Secretary of the government- Mr. Zillar Rahman, Chairman of national adult resources committee- Prof. Dr. Sayedul Islam Mullick, National Commissioner for PR & Marketing- Mr. Sarwar Md. Shahriar, Executive Director (in-charge) of Bangladesh Scouts- Mr. Arshadul Mukaddis and MoP National Coordinator- Mr. Md. Atikuzzaman Ripon delivers their speech on the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Afiqul Islam, Department of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology, preside over the opening ceremony. The volunteer Rover Scouts will serve cancer attacked child and infant on three particular days in a week after attending an orientation program organized by the BSMMU authority. The aim of the project is - • in company to the child and pediatric by telling stories, instructing painting, playing with toys. • to aware the guardians regarding hygiene issues and motivate them mentally with counseling services. • to help the patients to collect blood and donors. After the formal program, the entire Rover Scouts got an overview of MoP initiatives. The program starts on 10.00AM and continued till 1.00PM. #happy_Scouting…!
