SLSA MoP Network recently very fruitfully shared the Peace Message, with the MoP Module at Siyane jamborette - Gampha District, Sri Lanka Scout Association. The Jamborette was organized by the Gampha District Scout Association as their Annual major event in the District Calendar, with the experience organizers had gained from the CCISJ-2014 MoP module , they wanted us to conduct a similar module in the Jamborette and after having a few conversations we were suggested organizers to add Messengers of Peace module as an Activity to achieve the Jamborette award.. in this connection its created an additional interest in Scouts to take part in the MoP activity with an enthusiasm & experience the insight of Messengers of Peace initiative. The MoP Module of the Jamborette was held on 21st Saturday, 2015 from 9.00am to 5.30pm & more than 210 Scouts were successfully connected with us to make themselves Messengers of Peace, and inspire the world by their good living style. Activity No - 01 An Orientation cum an introductory session on MoP, Proposed duration is 20-30 Minutes. during the gathering participants were oriented about the inside of MoP and its historical background and just went through some idealistic ways to show them Who is the Messenger of Peace and how a Scout can become a Messenger of Peace and his responsibilities towards the Better World Creating by Scouts. Basic introduction for Messengers of Peace Badge Sri Lanka Scouts and Direction to earn that. And guidance to register on scout.org Activity No - 02 Oooo! Alele Alele kita konga...( an Activity Song) Through this we just talk about the importance of good ideas and its Share..
