Mobile Vaccination drives :- Mysuru District

This project was implemented in the month of October by Health and Welfare Department of Mysore District. Both City Corporation and Gram Panchayath Members also played a major role in it. We did door to door vaccination drives in Mysore District - Maharanis Arts College, Agrahara, Jaynagar, Apmc, Niveditha Nagara and SVP nagara Mysuru Taluk- Kadakola, Hanchya, Beerihundi, Hootgalli Mellahalli and Hunsur Taluk.
During this drive we were supposed to go to door to door and get vaccination done for the aged who were unable to come to vaccination centers. We also worked in Primary Health care centers and helped the people to get vaccinated. This helped many of them to get vaccinated and keep their self healthy
We were trained how to use the vaccination portals and we were also trained to prepare vaccination reports on daily basis No. Of Scouts participated -2 Total no of days worked - 31 No of individual service hour 1*6*31=186hrs Total service hours 2*6*31=372hours We covered 2000 first dose and 3000 second dose vaccines during this time
