The Ghana Scout Association organized a Messengers of Peace workshop for all regional coordinators in the NSO. The theme for the workshop was “Strengthening the future of Ghana Scout Association”. 23 participants from all over the country converged at Tamale from 16-19 November, 2017 for the training. The aim of the workshop was to strengthen the MoP network in the NSO by training them to be effective coordinators. The participants developed an action plan to promote regional and local initiatives. This action plan spans from December 2017 to November 2018. The Regional coordinators also visited Fihini community and Kpawumu Children Home to donate clothes and stationery. The community members were educated on Scouting and Messengers of Peace.
