MESSENGERS OF PEACE - QUARANTANIM PROJECT: Free Vegetable Seedlings for the Community

This project's objective is to give away free vegetable seedlings to the community who is very in need to minimize the risk of going outside buying food essentials in crowded market during this hard times of the pandemic, this is to plant it and grow it to their homes to serve as their food. This project was also in support of the flagship project of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines the Urban Gardening Project, Rover Scouts were able to distribute different kinds of vegetable seedlings to 150 families in the community at Padre Gregorio Crisostomo Integrated School. we had seen people who were asking and even begging for foods that led to the Messengers of Peace Community Pantry committed to render extraordinary services towards community development, the promotion of dialogue and peace, and relief in times of need.

Community service gives me a valuable opportunity to walk into a different community that is less familiar to me but just as colorful and most importantly, in need.
