Messengers of Peace Kenya Network

Messengers of Peace Kenya Network

Messengers of Peace Kenya was born after the MoP Africa Community Leaders Training that took place in Burundi during the 6th Africa Scout Jamboree where Grace Nyaruai Michuki and Nelson Ochieng Opany, both of whom are National Youth Representatives at Kenya Scouts Association received training on MoP. On coming back they set up the online community with a facebook group, twitter account and a blog   Already a total of 42 other Rover Scouts in Kenya were trained in Septemeber by the two supported by WSB/ARO. We are now moving forward with recruiting more young people to become messengers of peace, with a pledge "I am not my tribe" and a call for "Peace in Diversity". Together we believe we can make the world a better place!
