Introduction As part of the quarterly plan programme for the Nima Scout District, they embarked on a Messenger of Peace (Ghana) Cub Scout Jungle Expedition at the National Scout Training Centre.In attendance were a total of Cub Scout was 47 and 13 leaders Objectives 1.       Create awareness on MOP for cubs Scouts 2.       Build team work and commitment 3.       Learn Scouting skills 4.       Have fun and explore nature   Orientation and Flag Rising There was an orientation and introduction of the concept of Messengers of Peace for understanding of the Cub. The flag raising ceremony before the activities started. Scouts were addressed and oriented on MOP by the Mohammed Issah Logoh (Camp Leader) with supervision and consultation from Leonard Victor Atipaga. Patrols The Cub Scout were divided into patrols, namely: Wolf Patrol, Dog Patrol, Cheetah Patrol and Goat Patrol. Activities Several activities took place such as Mountaineering, Obstacle Crossing, Monkey Ladder, Tent Pitching, Basic in First Aid, Messenger of Peace discussion, Inter Patrol Games, Presentation of Awards, etc. Games We had a lot of games, such as: Hit the target, Picking tails, Tag of Peace, Pe lolo, Jack where are you, etc. Presentation of Awards The Overall Best Award was given to King Solomon Lazdekpo The Second Best Award was given to Adam Snelling The Third Best Award was given to Elie Chammas Future Plans There are plans to have similar encounters with the other sections of Scouts, Venture Scout and Rovers.   Conclusion In conclusion, I wish to say, THANK YOU to Ghana Scout Association, Greater Accra Regional Scout Council, Nima Scout District and all the leaders that helped to make the MoP (Gh) First Cub Scout Jungle Expedition a success. It was beyond a reasonable doubt that we have learnt a lot in the programme, it was very educative, more especially that the participants were always eager to help and to share their experiences in scouting with their colleagues from various group.
