Messenger of Peace Workshop

A Messenger of Peace work shop was conducted by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Howrah District Association collaborated with Sri Ramkrishna Shikshalaya Scout Group at Sri Ramkrishna shikshalaya, 106 Narasingha Dutta Road, Howrah, West Bengal at the eve of the International Day of Peace, i.e. on 21th September 2014. Though it was depressed day due to heavy Rainfall and natural calamity, still 193 Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers from 13 groups of our district and other respectable district officials attended the workshop. At 3:00 the workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Smrity Sourav Ray, A.D.(Eastern Region), Bharat Scouts and Guides. We started our workshop at 2:30 with registration fallowed by prayer, and ended with Vote of thanks and National Anthem at 7:00 pm. The program covered the following subjects. i.e. the Ice Breaking videos along with Ball game, The main Messenger of peace videos along with Ball Game, Ooo Aa le le song, Greetings Card making and Networking game and Friendship knot making simultaneously by rotation of three groups fallowed by photo session and networking videos, MoP Registration at Scout.org and a dance on the M.O.P. official song. The workshop was ran by Smt. Shraya Polley, Smt. Prianka Karar, Sri Subhadeep Paul, Sri Kamil Das and Sri Shameek Basu, under the supervision of Sri Kanchan Das, District Commissioner (Scout), Howrah.
