Messenger of Peace organized an educational visit to Temburong District. There were 18 cub scouts, 9 rovers, 5 ventures from Temburong, 14 leaders including our MOP coordinator, Skip Liyana. Cleaning campaign was also one of the activities. The objectives of this activity are: -To learn about Temburong’s products and history -Acknowledging Temburong’s traditional food ‘wajid’ and learning the ingredients and how to pack them. ‘wajid’ (Brunei traditional food, sweet condiment made from rice, coconut milk and sugar then packed in ‘nyirik leaves’) -To socialise with other scouts from different district through playing activities (cleaning activities, pledge writings, games) -To bring scouts from different backgrounds together as this activity unite people as one.
