Merdeka Hike 2019
To clean up the environment while doing exercises
We went to Bukit Mertajam(which is our usual hiking spot for this event) early in the morning by bus. We did some warm-up and prepared by the starting line. Before our hike, we were given a plastic bag and were asked to pick up any rubbish we see along the way. After finishing the hike we would collect the rubbish and altogether dispose of it.
Hikers that would eventually come and visit would be benefited from this event. We managed to keep the environment clean and make it more comfortable for the other hikers.
I learned about the importance of keeping the cleanliness of the environment.
