MASS TREE PLANTATION

Our country is carbon neutral. And we are proud of that. Many other countries are struggling to have clean air and to stop climate change. As the proverb says, the journey of thousand miles starts with a single step...I believe that eventhough our effort seems very small, it might make a tremendous difference in future. This inspired me to take up the project.
We implemented our project within our school boundary. To plant more saplings in shorter period of time, we divided into few groups and stated planting in different spots. We had about 500 saplings, with 20 different species of trees.
The students knew the importance of nature, because we Explained about how it has the impact on nature. They were all inspired with their work. We also told them the story of Bhutan creating History by planting almost 50000 saplings within an hour by 100 volunteer. They knew the proper way of planting tree.
I was able to learn how to initiate such programs. And especially the importance of scouts around the world. We are all scouts so we could protect our nature. I could have brought more than 500 saplings. It took them no more than 2 hours to plant it
