1st Mhlaba Scouts built a Food Garden at Siyaphambili pre-school in Boschfontein with 65 children. The pre-school was started with the need of seeing the struggle faced by parents who have to go to work and not knowing where to leave their children, so the school was provided with the basics. The school needs to take care of all this children and so there is a big need for nutritious meals at a low cost. To water the garden the Scouts also implemented a 4000L Jo-Jo Tank, which makes access to clean water easier for the children and caregivers at the school. The Scouts will assist the caregivers with the watering, should they not be around at that time. Upon arrival there was a thank that was bought but not placed on a stand and the rovers built this stand and painted it so the stand looks good. The watering of the gardens is secure now.
