Loving Ocean Loving Earth- Peacemaker
We for beach cleanup based on the concept of "caring for the ocean and cleaning the Earth", in conjunction with World Earth Day 422. We planned some activities about MOP and SDGs. We hoped pre-cub scouts, cub scouts and scouts could go green for sustainable development of earth. We also holped they could practice moral education of scouts by cultivate their spirits of positive and honors by enthusiastic service .
all the scouts who participated in the event gathered at Cijin beach. Scoutmaster taught us understand the ocean and the impact of marine debris on us and the natural environment. Our beliefs and actions are more powerful because we knew the ocean and loved the ocean.We spent a lot of time and effort picking up many types of garbage.we sorted and recycled garbage in rendezvous.Scouts led pre-cub scouts and cub scouts to overcome the challenges and orienteering.

beach cleanup on 23 April. I saw a lot of garbage, such as cigarette butts, plastic bottles, glass, etc. I felt so sad because those caused environmental pollution. Sea creatures would die when they ate poisonous chemicals because the waves swept garbage into the sea. I could never see sea creatures again.In the afternoon, those activities taught me how to sort and recycle garbage. There was only one earth, so we need to cherish the earth. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have a place to live.
