Lovely Disabled Home (LDH) organised a charity carnival for their expenses for the upcoming year. 45 Scouts and 4 leaders were on site to help with the proceedings by helping out the vendors and organisers. While the leaders had the jobs of supervising and checking on the condition of the Scouts, the Scouts had a better time learning while doing. Their jobs ranged from collecting the coupons of purchasing, to managing stock, learning how to promote, crowd control and of course cleanliness. Many of them had their first times manning a booth or stall and helping to market and promote whatever item that was assigned to them. Overall, it was a great experience for them and a kudos to the LDH Charity Carnival organisers for creating such a well received event. Credits go to the Scouts of 104 Petaling, 17 Petaling and 9 Petaling for helping out and Leaders Mr Jimmy, Ms Zhen Ni (104), Mr Heng (9, 214 & 146) for inviting me to help out as well.
