Lokalogi Prepares 'Heroes' for Waste Management
Lokalogi by Pramuka UGM gave technical guidance Event Waste Management to about 90 volunteers, who are known as Lokalogi Heroes. This preparation is meant for the Universitas Gadjah Mada’s (UGM) orientation, which is one of the biggest annual events at campus. Lokalogi will face a big challenge because the event will be attended up to 10,000 new students. This guidance is very important to share knowledge about event waste management.
Lokalogi Heroes will join the team when the event starts to help with important technical work on the field. To make sure all volunteers are ready, the training was held two times, divided into indoor and outdoor sessions. The indoor session focused on the theory of waste management. On the other hand, the outdoor session focused entirely on direct practice, where the volunteers learned how to sort waste through various fun and interactive games.
Through this great teamwork between Lokalogi and the Lokalogi Heroes, they hope to create a meaningful and positive impact. The main goal is to give a strong first impression to the new students that UGM is a campus that truly cares about the environment.
