Lithuanian Sea Scout CUP
Project objectives - to influence Lithuania sea scout programme and empower leaders and sea scouts.
Our project involves one local sea scout group to build their sailing boat - "Petite Brise" and organize first sea scout regatta.
Project objectives:
1. To increase sea scout competence in their practical programme
2. To influence Lithuanian sea scout movement to move forward by building boats themselves and creating opportunities for young people to sail
3. To promote sea scout programme activities in the community
4. To take active part in local community life
In a few years time we aim to have yearly Sea Scout Cup regattas. It is likely more scout units will participate with their hand made boats. By establishing Lithuania Sea Scout Cup trophy and building first hand made boat we are going to influence Lithuanian sea scout movement to move forward: to increase sea scout competence (programme and boat building), give more opportunities for young people to sail and take active part in local community‘s life.
Our project is partly funded by ESF (Europe Scout Foundation), but every support is welcome.
