During the Baden-Powell Award assessment, one of the main components of the assessment is to carry out community service. We the participants decided to help out 2 local villages by changing and lighting up their street name signs for the alleys that are taking part. By using PVC piping for the main poles, the sign boards are lighted up using solar powered LED lights to ensure the lights run clean, sustainable and off the grid to reduce costs.
