Let's Distribute The Foods To Them...!!!
We had done this project with the help of 'Operation Hope Kolkata' a NGO who is doing many community development services from 2019. They invited me join this food and ration drive which was held for 3 consecutive days.
We gave the rations to Prem Nivas a Leprosy Centre situated at Titagarh a city in West Bengal. At first we took donations from our relatives and then we took some contributions from the NGO Fund itself. After that we bought the rations which included 102 kgs. Rice Bag, 80kgs. Onions, 42 ltrs. Refined Sunflower Oil and 150kgs Potatoes for the 3 days. We gave all the rations to their Office In-Charge.
By giving the rations they told us that it will be beneficitated to all the patients of the centre and they will get some delicious lunch for the next 1 week. They were really thankful to us.
By doing this project we literally felt the pain of every patients for foods. They regularly ate the same rice-daal meals but when we arrived at their place, their face changed with a smile hoping with a good lunch they will have for the next few days. This project would have been better if we had greater and larger donations and contributions.
