Lending a helping hand
Due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, many people have financially fallen down and can only afford to eat 1 or 2 meals a day. Therefore, I felt bad and wanted to help them with a good meal.
We went to the fair and bought the groceries. We were able to give many food parcels quickly in Kurunegala Town.
We were able to help approximately 10 people. Other people will also get motivated by this project.
I am thoroughly against giving money to poor people. But instead, I am really happy to give them food and/or water. Next time, I would want to collect more people to do this project so we can distribute more food parcels to more people.
